Sump Pump Services

A sump pump sits in a concrete pit in your basement and pushes groundwater outside before it reaches the floor. It is the first line of defense during a heavy rain. If the pump motor dies, the float switch gets stuck, or the discharge pipe freezes in winter, the pit fills and the water spills out.

Sump Pump Installation and Battery Backup Systems

We install a new primary pump, replace one that has burned out, and repair stuck switches and broken check valves. Severe storms often bring power outages, so a backup pump is worth having. A backup runs on a battery, or on your home's water pressure, so the basement stays dry when the power goes out.

If the basement is already wet when we arrive, we look at where the water is coming from. A wet floor can be an overflowing sump pit, a leaking water heater, or a backed-up floor drain. Those are different repairs, and we make sure we are fixing the right one.
